Upon entry to the apartment you find a delightful bright living room accented with cool gray pastel wall contrasting with the laminated wood floors.

There is a relaxing leather Ethan Allen sofa that becomes a twin bed, a coffee table, a wall mounted SMART ROKU TV that streams HBO, Netflix, YouTube and many other channels in addition to 200+ cable channels.

There is also a small desk space for you to work and a ceiling fan in the living room. This space will comfortably accommodate 3 guests.

The bedroom offers a queen size bed, portable AC, fresh linens and a side table with lamp.

The kitchen features a gas range, fridge / freezer, coffee maker. Fully stocked with cookware, stemware, flatware, and more. Basic cooking essentials like sugar, seasonings, etc. as well as light cleaning materials.

Bathroom with combination shower/tub has been and lots of hot water with good pressure. The basin is right next to the shower area, alongside a stainless steel shelving unit containing superior quality towels, washcloths, and other essentials. Emergency kit and first aid items available.

PARKING:
**ONE DESIGNATED GARAGE PARKING SPACE. REMOTE CONTROL FOR GARAGE PROVIDED. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A HISTORIC BUILDING. THE GARAGE IS FOR SINGLE CAR USE AND IS SMALL (DIMENSIONS: 7’2 x 17 ft). I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY CAR LARGER THAN A NISSAN VERSA. IN OTHER WORDS A COMPACT CAR. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS RECOMMENDATION AND DRIVE A CAR LARGER THAN WHAT’S RECOMMENDED. IF YOU CHOSE TO DRIVE A LARGER VEHICLE THEN IT MAY NOT FIT AND YOU WILL HAVE TO PARK ON THE STREET. THIS GARAGE IS A HUGE BONUS BECAUSE PARKING IN LONG BEACH IS VERY SCARCE.***

The entire private 1 bedroom, 1 bath front upstairs unit of a small triplex building. The triplex is located behind a front house. One designated garage parking space.

We do not live on site. However, I do believe in customer service so Lateefah or Alex my co-host or I will be available to guests if they want to communicate. Always!

This apartment is has a portable air conditioning unit in the bedroom so you will stay cool on those rare hot days. However, if fresh air is your choice then you will be just fine. The apartment is only a few miles inland from the beach so it stays much cooler than other parts of the city. The ample windows create a nice cross breeze and there are ceiling fans located in the living rooms and bedroom.

The house is in multiethnic, unpretentious, and historic downtown Long Beach. It’s very close to popular attractions such as the Queen Mary, Downtown Long Beach, Pine Avenue Promenade, and a great variety of restaurants and parks.

The City of Long Beach is a very walk friendly city. You will be located 4 blocks form Long Beach Transit bus service and less than 1 mile away Metro Anaheim Street Station which is the blue line.

Long Beach is a beautiful and interesting city to travel by bike. With the Long Beach Bike Share program you can conveniently rent bikes at on-street stations with a credit card and return them to another location near you destination. There is a on-street station less that a mile away. And of course there is always Uber and Lyft.

Please read the listing and the house rules completely. Once you book the place we will provide you with detail check-in instructions, comprehensive house rules and a guidebook. Below are rules you should know before you book:

1. Since Airbnb is built on trust, I do not allow third party bookings a.k.a booking for someone else. If you book then you must stay in the apartment along with your travel companions. The exception to this rule is if you have a corporate Airbnb account and are booking on behalf of you company. Lastly, if you break these rules then you are subject to cancellation and no refund.

2. Please disclose the number of guest staying at the home. This helps us with supplies and stocking towels/linens.

3. Maximum occupancy is 3 people. We charge an additional $10 per night if there is an additional 3rd person staying due to wear and tear and linens that need to be cleaned.

4. Please respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum.

5. Absolutely no smoking or pets anywhere on the property.

6. We provide a parking spaces for your convenience. The garage is for single car use, dimensions: 7’2 x 17 ft. Therefore, I do not recommend anything larger than a compact car (i.e.,Nissan Versa) If you chose to drive anything larger than a compact size vehicle then street parking is your next option. A parking permit is not required to park on the street however, please be advised that street parking is in short supply. Lastly, please return the garage remote to coffee table upon departure or risk losing your security deposit.

7. Please be mindful of the noise in the evenings. Absolutely no parties or DRUGS.

Check In (After 3pm)
For your convenience last check-in is at 10pm. However, if you are checking in late (after 9pm) please be mindful of the noise. This is our home and we do have neighbors. The same rules apply if you are checking out early (before 8am).

Check Out (Before 11am)
The cleaners will come promptly at 11am to prepare for the next guest. Please sign our guest book, lock the doors, and close the windows and LEAVE KEYS INSIDE LOCKBOX. You may also empty your trash and/or recyclables in any one of the bins. Have a safe journey home!

No Smoking, No Pets
Please remember that the apartment and the entire property is NO SMOKING and NO PETS. Our goal is to make the apartment as safe as possible for people with airborne allergies. Smoking in the apartment may result in a forfeiture of all or some of your security deposit.

Extra Guests
Although I do not mind if you invite friends over to visit my home, please keep the number of guests to a limited amount. I do not allow unauthorized guests to sleep here. Please do not allow extra guests to sleep at the Airbnb unless previously agreed upon when you booked the rental.

Broken Items
If for any reason you break an item during your stay, please let me know. I understand that accidents happen, but in order for me to fix or replace something for a future guest to enjoy, I will need to know that it is broken. I appreciate your honesty.

Garage Remote/Keys
Please leave garage remote on the coffee table. Lost or misplaced remote will cause you to forfeiture your $300 security deposit. Please return keys to lockbox.

Towels
Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain the towels and linens. Beige or gray towels are provided in each bathroom for removal of these products. Guest will be held responsible for linens or towels that cannot be salvaged. Place all used towels on the bathroom floor.

Cleaning Supplies & Mishaps
If you have any mishaps, there are cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink. All food and drink spills need to be cleaned up immediately. Food and drink spills on floors and or furnishings is considered to be damage beyond normal wear and tear. If the mishap needs our attention please alert us immediately so the situation can be resolved.

Linens
Leave any bed you’ve used unmade with covers pulled down- we’ll take care of the linens.

Dishes
We take care of all the dishes. Just return them to the kitchen. .

Trash Disposal
You will find trash bags under the kitchen sink. When the trash can is full, please remove the trash bag and place in any one of the large receptacles.

Locking Up
Remember to lock up when you leave the apartment. This is for your safety!

You must also acknowledge
Must climb stairs – One flight of stairs must be climbed. This is a top floor apartment.
Security Deposit – if you damage the home, you may be charged up to ₹17361
Surveillance or recording devices on property – We have external cameras on the property. They cover the common areas and apartment entrances.
Strict · Free cancellation for 48 hours
After that, cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 50% refund, minus the service fee.

Be sure to visit the Culver City Farmers’ market on Tuesdays’s for fresh fruit, veggies, or seafood. Centrally located in Los Angeles, you are less than 2 miles from the Metro rail, and only 15 minutes by car to the Venice beach, LAX, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.
